I’m prospecting a sense of philosophy here that especially belongs to this century, more than to the 20th: conceptual inquiry and teaching within interdomainal humanities. Philo-sophy was, of course, always about teaching (sophisticating) conceptual faculties. I want to advance that original (albeit implicit) calling to be the foundations of higher education.

My position here (now) isn’t a formal elaboration of why this position is appealing.
