[“meanwhile,” part 1: to Linda in October—which doesn’t link out, so use backspace] My “reverent interview” of early November is permanently archived at the link below. I wrote there that the next update here would not be until Nov. 21, but I changed my mind, though I don’t presently know what I’ll do next here. Short notes and vignettes can accumulate during a day, like any diary. Accumulated entries will be gathered and routed out, time to time, given a title and linked below. Then, this page will be a blank canvas. 2:30 PM My interest here is autobiographical, more relative to Linda for awhile, but not always in terms of those years or her presence in my life. I discussed that a little at the “Linda” page, which is now archival (and doesn’t link to this page anymore). For instance, aspects of childhood figure into what became of me such that I was drawn to her (and broke up, only to be drawn back). Lots happened in late 1974 through mid-1975, in the wake of life in Lexington, summer of ’73 through November of ’74. Ha! Lots happened during that year. So much happened in Gainesville. Lots of the 1200+ (?) pages I currently have online are relevant, though not yet having autobiographical context there, which can be provided here with links to that earlier stuff. I have a blog that mentions Linda at some length (narrating those times) in at least 15 postings, but which isn’t publicly available (privately available to someone); so, that can be brought here. I’ll keep fidelity to my “update” promises at the top here, but sometimes (maybe often) I may have added little when an update day arrives. I’ll feel guilty and apologize. Yet, I’ll keep this project in mind while doing other stuff. I’ll always say something for each update. For all I know, I may have periods of obsession where this page grows floridly across a couple of days. That happens often for other projects. |
